I created a mind map to explore possibilities regarding ideas and events for the screenplay. Since I was writing the script I decided the best way to get my ideas out and in an organised fashion was via a mind map. I am glad that I made this mind map as it allowed me to express my many ideas onto one coherent page which went into detail about my ideas. This meant that when writing the screenplay for the film, I could keep the mind map close to fuel my inspiration or to double check story beats. The mind map and contextual thinking really helped me in getting in the mindset of directing and also me with absorbing the ideas and overall tone and theme of the film that I am going to embark on making.
